While speaking in favour of Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, Sr. BJP leader and BJP candidate from Janakpuri in a public meeting organized in the compound of Rama Krishna Missionary School, Chankya Place, former Health Minister, Govt. of India and Sr. BJP Leader, Dr. C.P. Thakur, said that the statement of Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Sheila Dikshit that the migrants from Bihar were a burden on Delhi and as they were spoiling Delhi, was very shameful. Dr. Thakur said that Delhi being the capital of nation is also the heart of India. Persons from every nook and corner of India come to Delhi in search of their livelihood and the statement of Chief Minister of Delhi that migrants from Bihar are a burden on Delhi is a cruel joke with them. On this occasion Dr. Thakur said that the most of the migrants from Bihar reside in unauthorized colonies of Delhi. During the last 10 years , Smt. Dikshit has totally failed to provide even basic amenities like electricity, water and sewer in these colonies, nor could she get these colonies regularized. To mislead the residents of these colonies her Govt. has issued Provisional Regularization Certificates, which are just like fake currency notes.

He further said that it is a matter of pride for the residents of this area that a Sr. /experience leader likes Prof. Mukhi, who has not only solved the local problems but also played a prominent role in solving the problems of Delhiites is going to represent their area. They should send him to Delhi Legislative Assembly with a record margin of votes.

While addressing the public on this occasion, Prof. Mukhi said that as he had beautified Janakpuri & provided basic amenities in Uttam Nagar, he will also develop Chankya Place in the same manner. He is determined to develop every nook and corner of his constituency.
